  1. Brown the sausage and ground beef in a Dutch oven over medium-high heat. Drain any excess grease.

  1. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until golden brown and bubbly. Broil for 2-3 minutes for extra browning (optional).
  1. Let the lasagna rest for 15 minutes before slicing and serving.
